<p>Everyone who has tried losing weight before knows how difficult it can be to stick with a diet, especially when feelings of hunger never cease.  It truly feels as if food begins taunting you as soon as you make the decision to go on a diet.  But even Dr. Oz will tell you that taking Pure African Mango as a supplement to your diet and exercise routine will help you in your efforts to lose weight. In fact, this diet pill that is based off of an extract from a West African plant comes with other health benefits as well.  It reduces cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and even glucose levels.</p>

You will continue to regular meals of chicken, turkey, fish, and other lean meats, as well as plenty of vegetables, and some cheese, nuts and eggs. Also included in this part of the plan are garden salads, but using only olive oil for dressing.</p>
<p>Self-deprivation is not the goal of South Beach Diet Phase 1, and nor should it be. You body needs the proper fuel, not only to keep itself running, but to head off problems with cravings. To help guard against improper cravings, phase one of the South Beach Diet not only includes breakfast, lunch and dinner each day (each meal made up of balanced foods), but it also includes snacks. In this phase you are cutting out a ton of carbohydrates. That means things like potatoes, rice, baked goods, rice, fruit, cake, ice cream, etc., as well as reducing sugar intake in general. Carbs will return in phase 2, but for now they&#8217;re out. That means also eliminating beer or any other kind of alcohol from your diet.</p>
<p>The point of phase one of the South Beach Diet is to kick your weight loss into gear right away, and to get get your blood sugar levels stable too. Stabilizing those sugar levels is key to controlling and reducing those cravings that tempt you to cheat on your diet. South Beach Diet Phase 1 is the most restrictive phase of the diet plan, but it is worth it. Once you begin to quickly see some weight loss results, and to feel more control over your cravings  for sugars, fats, and more, you will gain the confidence needed to move on and complete the diet plan.</p>

<p>For better posture, you can set a goal to do the following exercise everyday for 10 minutes and within the span of 25-50 days, you will experience a straighter spine, more relaxed posture and an overall sense of wellbeing. The exercise is very simple and we give you two different exercises so you can vary it up a bit.</p>
<p><em>Exercise 1: Alexander Technique<br />

It&#8217;s actually quite astonishing how dramatic of an increase you can get in your endurance and stamina if you use a couple little tricks to control your mind so that you can go further than ever before in your workouts and get that little push that you need to get that last ounce of juice on that last rep.</p>
<p>Slowing down your breathing is a great way to calm your heart rate and slow down the thoughts in your mind to a crawl. This allows you to get inside your body and focus on your workouts without having the mind chatter distract you. You will find that you can workout longer if you have a clear mind and paying attention to the pace of your breathing is an awesome way to take care of this.</p>
<p>Deeper breathing is also very important when doing exercises which are physically intensive and it&#8217;s a great way to take your mind off of unnecessary junk and focus on your exercise. The deeper your breath, the more air in your lungs and the more oxygen for your body which is great during workouts. Try to breathe deeply and you will notice dramatic increases in both your workout intensity and your overall sense of ease throughout the exercise period.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also a great idea to try out Yoga if you are looking for a way to learn how to control your breathe in coordination with your physical movements. Tai Chi is another great way to master this technique and you will find that the benefits cross over into your daily workouts. When you begin, it may be challenging but make sure you stick to it and continue your practice and you will be on your way to longer stamina in the gym and anywhere else you need it (hint hint).</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also important to drink lots of water during workouts as this will help you ease your mind. When you are well hydrated, the body functions in a much better state and you are ready to take on more physical exertion. Remember not to drink too much water though as this will have the inverse effect.</p>
<p>One quick exercise I like to do when practicing Yoga is to maintain awareness of my breath. That is, rather than solely focusing on the moves and poses of the exercise, I focus on the sound of my breath and how deep I am breathing. Once you do this, everything else seems to happen automatically. It&#8217;s great if you do this in a class setting as you will see many other people in the room and learn quickly from them.</p>
<p>Overall, it&#8217;s crucial to realize the importance of the mind on the body. Quieting the mind is a great way to relax yourself so that you are able to go into an exercise with more focus and eventually last longer during the workouts. Breathing slowly and deeply is a great way to quiet the mind and provide fresh air for your body. Use these simple techniques in your workout and you&#8217;ll be well on your way to a life filled with better physical stamina in no time!</p>

<div>Let&#8217;s start with rice, a food consumed by many cultures, in many different countries including China and India. Rice is naturally brown on the outside and this brown layer is full of healthy nutrients which are great for your body. Most rice we eat is white, this is mainly because the original brown layer is stripped off and you are basically left with the white part, which is all carbohydrates. Rice is consumed on a regular basis by many, many people.</p>
<p>Now I bet you didn&#8217;t know rice can actually be unhealthy! Not all rice though. White rice is very bad for you, but on the other hand, brown rice can be one of the healthiest things in your diet. It is jam-packed with nutrients which are normally scraped off white rice in order to give it the white color and smooth texture. So remember, when you&#8217;re at the store, buy the brown rice, as opposed to the white rice.</p>
<p>Also, one of the other products consumed often by many people on a regular basis is red meat. Shocking results show that red meat is the number one cause of cancer, after smoking and alcohol. You can still eat red meat, but not alone, eat it in proportion with a large amount of vegetables or beans. Also, don&#8217;t eat it on an everyday basis, make it more of a once in a while kind of thing.</p>
<p>Another item on our list of foods to avoid is white bread, white bread is a very bad thing to eat. When you consume white bread, your blood sugar rises up to very high rates. When this happens, your pancreas creates insulin to get your blood sugar down. It makes you feel tired because your blood sugar drops lower than normal, and when your blood sugar goes high, it makes you more energized. After eating too much white bread, your pancreas will get tired and weak. Therefore it won&#8217;t be able to create insulin to bring your blood sugar down, causing high blood sugar problems which can lead to many, many other problems down the road. Next time you&#8217;re thinking about going to the grocery store, pick up brown bread, instead of white bread.</p>
<p>Now, good food to put in your body would be things like kale. Kale is filled with calcium, vitamin K, beta carotene and vitamin C. Add it in a smoothie with other fruits, such as blueberries or strawberries, which are very good antioxidants. The good thing about adding kale to a smoothie, with other fruits, is that you won&#8217;t even taste it. It only tastes like cabbage or lettuce, and generally has a very mild taste to it. Also, eat your vegetables and/or fruits raw. Cooking them is like taking all the good properties out of them, they are most healthy raw. This is a very easy way to stay healthy. Just munch on a raw carrot or maybe just a piece of celery, any fruit or vegetable will be great for your body! When you&#8217;re on the go, grab your favourite fruit or vegetable to take with you, it&#8217;s simple, quick and easy!</p></div>
